Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Support
Preparation, Installation, Stabilization, and Optimization: Assistance with preparation for the EMR install, as well as project management or troubleshooting during the go-live, stabilizing the receivable after go-live, and optimization once the EMR is “stable”.
Project Management and Specialty Assistance
The Mosaic team works as a business partner with client staff, creating a structured project management plan. The plan identifies responsible staff members, deliverable dates, and is handed-over to the client for their use upon completion of the engagement.
Medical Record Coding
Mosaic provides volume coding for all outpatient provider types, with additional coding support of physician inpatient services.
Medical Record Auditing and Education
Individual Department or provider auditing of a sampling of services. Audit results are shared with the provider of care. Education programs are created from the audit results to assist providers in improvement of documentation and charge capture.
Revenue Integrity – within the Revenue Cycle
The revenue integrity mindset is an important part of improving charge capture and decreasing denials for Patient Accounting and Patient Access teams. Mosaic has Certified Revenue Integrity Professional (CRIP) certified staff who can assist with revenue integrity improvements with pre-authorization, registration, billing, follow-up, and Denials Management.
